About me:

I am the managing director of Uckfield Motor Services, a family-run garage business founded by my father in 1992. Under my leadership, the company has evolved from a small four-man workshop into a well-regarded, multi-bay operation catering to both retail customers and commercial fleets. With a background in motorsport engineering and a sharp focus on strategy and team culture, I have introduced data-driven decision-making and expanded the business into fleet servicing, helping future-proof the garage in a rapidly changing automotive landscape. My approach places a strong emphasis on training, transparency, and creating a positive environment for his young, ambitious team.

Outside the workshop, I am active in the wider aftermarket community. I regularly contribute to Professional Motor Mechanic (PMM) magazine’s YouTube channel, sharing insights on workshop processes, business development, and the realities of running a modern independent garage. I’ve also spoken on industry panels, including at the Aftermarket Show, and have helped raise the profile of independent garages through open and honest storytelling. He uses his platform to inspire others through authenticity and resilience, showing that strong leadership comes from growth, not perfection.
